Choose a main focus before collecting attractions. Time beside the bay, a country walk and a day in a nearby village use different amounts of energy and transport. This directory links to the practical guides for each choice, including what to check before committing.

What about the lido?
The council's 12 March 2026 project update described further restoration work and an intended finish around the end of summer. That planned date is not proof of opening, and restoration of the site is distinct from bringing swimming back. We have not confirmed present public opening or swimming availability; use the council and project operator for a current announcement before making a special visit.
